BFT Goes Mainstream

I got some great news from my publicist today. It seems that Barnes & Noble has picked up the second edition of my book, Barrier-Free Travel; A Nuts and Bolts Guide For Wheelers and Slow Walkers. Basically this means they will order the title with their regular orders (several times a year) and it will be available in their store. Of course this is great for me as far as potential sales go, but it goes a little deeper than that.

It means that the whole subject of accessible travel has come out of the dark and into a very mainstream venue. No longer do people have to special order the title. They can just walk (or roll) into their local bookstore and pick it up off the shelf.

The times they are a changing!
