I just got my 2007 Rhode Island Access Guide from my friend Marie Perna today. This is the fifth edition of this guide, which started as a small project of Marie?s MS support group. There is also an on-line version at www.accessiblerhodeisland.org.
This new edition includes access information on nearly 400 restaurants, theaters, museums, cultural venues, libraries, galleries and recreational areas throughout Rhode Island. I particularly like the use of the pictograms in the guide, as the criteria for all of them is clearly defined in the first page of the guide.
And, believe it or not, all the information in the guide was compiled and verified by Marie?s army of volunteers.
So, if a trip to (or even through) Rhode Island is in your future, check out this great access resource.
As usual, great job Marie!
