Free Adaptive Recreation Day in Wilmington

If you’ve ever thought about trying out an adaptive sport, then make plans to attend the 8th Annual Accessible Recreation Day at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The price is right too. It’s all free, including admission, snacks, lunch and a T-shirt.

Date: Friday April 17, 2009
Time: 9AM to 4PM
Place: UNCW Student Recreation Center

Attendees will have a chance to try out everything from adaptive tennis to rock climbing. A wheelchair basketball clinic will also be presented by the Port City Spokesmen.

A complete schedule of all the events can be found on the www.uncw.edu/stuaff/disability/.
