If you’re thinking about visiting the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, then think about visiting it on the first Sunday of the month, when admission is free.
Sponsored by Target, the admission is capacity controlled, so be sure and get there early in the day.
Access is excellent throughout the museum, with level access to the entrance, accessible restrooms, elevator access to all levels and plenty of room to wheel around the galleries. Wheelchairs are also available for loan at the front desk.
It’s an excellent museum, with exhibits chronicling over 6,000 years of Asian cultures. So make plans to visit it on the first Sunday of the month, save a few bucks and enjoy it.
