Well we’re off on another road trip adventure to do some research for my next book. And although this trip won’t take us as far as we usually venture, it will require an extended stay near the national parks that we will be covering – Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton.
It’s far from our first visit to the area, and after some extensive pre-trip research I’ve uncovered a good number of accessible trails and attractions, and I’ve set up scores of site visits to check out accessible rooms. In fact I’m happy to report that we will be looking at accessible rooms at all of the in-park lodgings. That’s quite a feat in itself, but we will also be looking at additional properties in the gateway cities.
It will be an intensive research trip, but we will have a few days off here and there for a bit of down time. And I expect to find at least a few fun things to post about along the way, so stay tuned.
And if you’re planning to travel to the area, be on the lookout for Barrier-Free Travel; Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks for Wheelers and Slow Walkers, which will be released in June 2018.
