Avid researcher Joy Taylor just dropped me a note to let me know about the fee free weekends at 100 National Parks throughout the US. During these special weekends there's no charge for entrance fees, commercial tour fees or transportation entrance fees. Camping fees and fees collected by third parties are not included; but hey, it's still a great deal.

I'm not real big on being an overly regimented packer, but this free packing list may work for some of you. It's not rocket science. Basically you just write down what you put in your suitcases, so in case they're lost, then you at least have an inventory.
