Up-close-and-personal at "Alcatraz; Life on the Rock".OK, I admit it, I’m a huge Alcatraz fan. I’ve seen every movie made about the island (the Birdman was the best), I love reading historical accounts about prison life, and I’m simply enthralled by the audio tour whenever I visit the old cell block. Indianapolis Cultural Trail

The Indianapolis Cultural Trail gets a thumbs-up for access.

The last time I visited Indianapolis, Washington Street was filled with construction workers, the JW Marriott had just broken ground, and the Indianapolis Cultural Trail was still a work in progress. This time around things were different. Philippines Poised to Tap into the Accessible Tourism Market

Although it’s far from the most accessible place in the world, the Philippines plans to court the accessible tourism market by offering discounts to disabled tourists. A 20% discount for disabled residents is already mandated at hotels, attractions and transportation providers throughout the country; and according to Philippine Tourism Secretary Alberto Lim, “These benefits should be extended to tourists with disabilities”.
